Welcome to the May edition of Symbio VoIP Update, Symbio Networks' official review of the latest headline news, hot topics, technologies and operations coming out of Symbio within the region.

In this edition we discuss our network of high-quality direct routes with the capability of CLI-delivery for our wholesale customers, the continued expansion of our Singapore POP and our presence at CommunicAsia 2010 in Singapore. On the domestic front, our Australian national aggregation network build is well underway, and we will be making a number of big announcements about this in the coming months as this project reaches its completion. Symbio Wholesale Premium CLI Routes

Symbio have recently extended their network of international CLI-enabled routes to include Fiji. This network of CLI-enabled direct routes now includes:

- Australia

- New Zealand

- Singapore

- Malaysia

- Philippines

- Vietnam

- Indonesia

- Fiji

Symbio Networks' strength in the wholesale market is that of delivering the highest-possible quality VoIP termination routes with CLI capability to carriers and service providers both within Asia and throughout the world. Our routing policy is to never blend or ‘refile' any route, and coupled with our superior engineering experience in VoIP & IP networks this enables us to deliver the highest quality voice traffic for each call that passes through our network.

We are continuing to invest in new direct routes in strategic locations as our network continues to grow throughout Asia. More of these will be made available to our customers in the coming months.

Symbio Singapore POP Upgrade

In order to cater for the continued growth of traffic through our Singapore Point of Presence (POP), Symbio undertook an expansion of this session control functionality in April/May 2010. Our Singapore POP provides a full switching & session control functionality in order to provide direct routes into SE Asia as well as to aggregate traffic for carriers who require high-quality carrier termination into Australia & New Zealand, for which Symbio provide the transmission back to Sydney and/or Auckland.

Symbio expect further investment in this POP & capabilities as it continues develop its position as the leading VoIP carrier in Asia.
