The Symbio Networks Team
From the Technical Director
|
Dear Partners, Customers, and Prospective Customers,
As the year draws to a close, it is time to reflect on the year that was, and the new year that will be, and to thank those that helped us get to where we are today.
Symbio has grown tremendously in the last 12 months in terms of minutes carried as well as presence in the global wholesale market. We are now approaching our goal of 1 Billion VoIP minutes per annum, which will be reached this year thanks to our many customers who have helped us grow, and who have themselves grown throughout the year. Symbio will continue to focus on providing the highest quality product backed up by the highest quality customer service and technical support.
|
 |
The year to come will see continued growth for Symbio with massive infrastructure investments planned in Australia, New Zealand and the region. This will help build up our capacity, our reach to our customers, and overall improve our products and services.
The future will continue to be strong for VoIP and the communications market. With several countries in the region planning their NBN strategies, this will lead to a strong investment focus in this sector in the mid to long term. The final result will eventually be a massive number of users on broadband with VoIP being the default form of voice communications. This will further drive the take up of VoIP services and the need for high quality wholesale providers like Symbio.
We thank you all for your business, and wish you all the best in 2010.
Regards,
Rene Sugo

Symbio give Deltathree the local advantage with managed services
|
In order to establish a presence within the Australian and New Zealand telecommunications landscape to launch its most recent product offering, deltathree, Inc., a U.S. VoIP telecommunications company, chose to partner with Symbio Networks to deliver a spectrum of services.
Symbio provide deltathree co-location, call termination, IP transit, direct-in-dial (DID's) and tech support services. Amos Shahar, deltathree's Director of Engineering and Network Operations commented "The quality of the Symbio VoIP network, as well as its in-depth knowledge of VoIP technologies and its market, was crucial in our decision to partner with Symbio."
|

|
Amos Shahar continued; "Although Australia is a very remote destination for us, the quality and response times of Symbio's operational support enabled us to install and commission our network in a very quick timeframe, and meet our time-to-market objectives from afar. We are looking forward to continued success with Symbio as we continue our growth within Australian, and hopefully expand into New Zealand."
Alastair Slattery, Symbio's Manager of Wholesale and Business Development commented; "Deltathree are typical of the type of organization that Symbio can present a good deal of value to - they have a good product and operational structure, are successful in their market and are looking to expand their footprint into a new market. Symbio, as a managed service provider with an unsurpassed knowledge in VoIP technologies and the local market can provide a suite of services enabling them to establish a local presence. We too, look forward to supporting deltathree as their services grow in ANZ and beyond."
