Welcome to the September edition of Symbio VoIP Update, Symbio Networks' official monthly review of the latest headline news, hot topics, technologies and operations coming out of Symbio within the region.

The September edition focuses on a milestone event for Symbio, the expansion of our network into Asia with the build of our Singapore Point of Presence (POP). This expansion is a result of well over a year's planning and is testament to our goal of becoming the leading wholesale VoIP provider for carriers and service providers within Asia (as well as Australia and New Zealand).

We at Symbio are very excited about this, and are looking forward to the new challenges and opportunities that await us in the months ahead.

Set for Regional Expansion with Singapore POP

September marks a significant month for us as we begin to imprint our presence within Asia with the strategic deployment of our Singapore Point of Presence (POP). We expect to complete the build of this POP (in Equinix in Singapore) within the month and run live services from the start of October.

We have identified Singapore as one of the key hubs within Asia and our investment will allow us to provide full switching and session control functionality with direct routes into Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines from day 1, with more to come.

We foresee further investment within our Australian, New Zealand and Asia points of presence as we continue to expand our network footprint.

Symbio Networks expands into Asia-Pacific Region

Symbio sign Dialogic Gold Class Partner Agreement

Symbio recently signed as a Gold Class Partner with Dialogic. The Gold Class partnership solidifies the strong relationship that has been forged over many years of working together with the Dialogic team and their products. We expect this partnership with Dialogic to remain strong as we continue to expand within the region. The partnership agreement is a testament to our commitment with Dialogic.

Symbio Wholesale VoIP and IP Footprint

With the completion of our Singapore POP, Symbio can now offer high quality VoIP services throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia Pacific. The diagram below represents the major Points of Presence where service providers, operators and carriers can meet Symbio.

Symbio at ACC

This month we will be attending the 5th Asian Carrier Conference (ACC) on 9-12 of September at Cebu, Philippines. The theme is "Pushing the Boundaries for Wholesale Carriers: Finding the Silver Lining in the IP Cloud."

We will be speaking with prospective interconnecting parties at the conference to discuss the strength of our network and the competitive advantage Symbio will be bring to the Asia Pacific region. We welcome the opportunity to meet with fellow ACC attendees in order to explore potential business opportunities.
