The ENTICE^TM (Emerging Networks Telecommunications Infrastructure Control Environment) Softswitch/Session Controller (E-SC) interconnects service providers with a trusted solution that provides security, service assurance, interworking, service reach and regulatory compliance at all network borders and across all network topologies. Whether a service provider is delivering voice, video and multimedia sessions across IP borders, interworking with SS7 SCPs or SIP based application servers, or combining calls and services from multi-vendor networks, the ENTICE Session Controller is up to the job. With protocol support for SIP, H.323, H.248, SIGTRAN and SS7 the session controller interconnects calls and services across all networks including wireline, cable and wireless networks. These capabilities enable service providers to accelerate revenue by simplifying the setup, control and management of often complex networks.

Based on ENTICE, the E-SC features an IMS-ready, scalable, distributed clustering architecture that can scale from 250 to over 100,000 simultaneous sessions. E-SC resolves the issues you face when building new VoIP networks or interconnecting with preexisting networks such as:
